While mega-influencers and macro-influencers, due to their high level of fame and recognition are those who can reach more people, micro-influencers and nano-influencers are the ones who have greater power of conviction over their followers.

And, although they do not have as much visibility at a global or national level as the Mega-influencers and Macro-influencers, they are close to the public and they have obtained admiration or recognition thanks to their actions on a specific topic.

Their knowledge and activities regarding a certain subject leads them to gain credibility and therefore their followers are people who are really interested in the subject. They have less followers, but higher quality leads, with greater potential for purchase than that of a regular celebritie's follower.

Recently, the connection between influencers and brands has been, in many cases, specific and punctual.

A long-term relationship has not been sought, which is beginning to change due to the constant supply that influencers receive from brands, which leads to discontinuity and to obtaining modest results in the short term, while there could be better results in a longer period of time.

It is well known that videos tend to be more successful in Social Media than images or texts, but not all platforms have given the same relevance to videos or have the same storage capacity.

This has begun to change in recent years and the use of videos has been growing more and more, which will continue to be a trend between 2019-2020. It is predicted that 82% of the content on the internet will be video for 2022.

The fall from 67% to 62% of Facebook users registered in 2018, is a clear sign of a decline that is occurring slowly but progressively in this network.

Younger generations prefer formats like Instagram, while Facebook has gradually been left for the use of older generations. This is influenced by several factors such as; the Cambridge Analytica scandal, the effects of the negative or aggressive posts that users usually publish that generate discomfort, and the fact that it is a platform that has already been created a decade and a half ago, while new and modern options are appearing.

While Facebook for the first time is slowing down, its fellow Instagram is growing at an accelerated pace. Its visual and direct platform has become the main tool for influencers of all kinds. Undoubtedly, this growth will continue between 2019 and 2020, consolidating more and more as the social medium of preference for both influencers and users.
